Marionne is a physician, a painter, and current master's student in Health Communication. She discovered painting in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, where she began her medical practice and where the sunsets left her a palette she has never put down. Her work lives at the intersection of science and beauty: fruits that nourish us with their vitamins and become vital blood, hands that convey what words cannot reach, bodies that carry myths and help us rewrite them. She works in acrylic, watercolor, and oil; each medium with its own language. She is the founder and curator of Dignidad Centenaria, a project that brought together 12 painters and 12 Costa Rican centenarians in an exhibition and documentary exploring what it means to live beyond 100 years, presented as part of the International Arts Festival of Costa Rica.
