i talk about disgust and anger with “the bullies were right” (2024), where i acknowledge the weaknesses of my past self, drawing me (from my first video) in a derogatory way with the text “the bullies were right” in a mocking red cursive. words that are provoking and sharp, especially since they come from me directly.

gal (b. 2000, locarno, switzerland) combines mediums in a very aware way. it’s a combination between videomaking, painting, theatre, prints, ceramics, music, ai, or installation. being born in a clown’s family and doing physical theatre since a young age, gal uses (his) body and movement as storyteller and point of view. because of his influences from popular culture everyone can understand gal’s art and receive its message to create an accessible and fun artwork experience. gal is interested in journalism (which he studied), (his) queerness, movement, colors, people, politics, bodies, sex.
