Amela

a life shaped by movement & colour

amela grew up in bosnia, where art and colour were woven into everyday life. after her family moved to germany and later to buchs, switzerland, she carried that visual sensitivity with her through every transition. finding in paint a constant she could always return to.

it was during her architecture studies that amela first found a formal gateway into painting. the discipline of spatial thinking and composition deepened her understanding of form, light and structure and she quickly realised that she wanted to take her practice much further. she completed several advanced painting courses and steadily developed her own visual language: expressive, luminous, and quietly emotional.

today, her studio practice revolves around acrylic on canvas, a medium she loves for its versatility and immediacy. whether she is capturing a sun-drenched beach scene or an abstract study in colour, her works carry a warmth that comes from a life lived fully, and a belief that beauty deserves to be shared.
